The Architecture of Social Media

May 5, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Social media can be overwhelming for design firms. Which platforms? How often to post? What to post?

The way and manner of marketing for design firms has changed. In the past, architects had to make use of ads in magazines, newspapers, and good, old word-of-mouth to get their services to a wider audience. But that is no longer the case. Architects and designers now use social media in more interesting ways to help them work, gather feedback, and connect in meaningful ways.

Generating social media ideas for businesses in the design industry can be a challenge. If you struggle with social media marketing, you’re not alone.  So, let’s talk about it. In this roundtable discussion, we will share loads of insights & social media hacks.

  • What are the best social media platforms you have the most success with? How often do you post?
  • What different & unique ways do you create content?  It’s important to have a good mix of content: blog posts, videos, educational resources, pictures, etc.
  • Do you use a content calendar?
  • What is your go to Apps & Hacks?
  • What are your social media goals – traffic, brand awareness, customer service, or community engagement?
  • Do you track social media metrics/analytics?
  • Do you use Social Media advertising?

If you haven’t attended one of our chapter roundtables in a while (or ever), please consider this your invitation – to ask for help, share your success, and help us all manage our social media with confidence. We hope to see you on May 5!
