“What the Finance?” is part one of a four-part business practice event examining the practical and tactical activities and approaches to running a business and getting ahead. You’ll walk away with an education on synthesizing financial tools in a business (financial statements, utilization, multipliers, KPIs, employee cost). It’s not often we have that all pulled together to see the push and pull of those tools. This session looks at those tools and talks about how they relate to each other, to profit, revenue, and cash in a basic and practical way. This presentation will be highly interactive.  Bring your high focus and a thick notebook!

An engineer turned operations maven, Jess brings her right/left brain balance to helping everyone run their businesses better. She’s a coach, a consultant, and a CEO peer advisory facilitator/leader.  As a consultant, she’s the expert in organizational structure, operations, finance, IT, marketing, administration (she was an administrator in one career), and HR. As a CEO peer advisory leader, she facilitates business owners, founders and CEOs in their leadership development, company growth and decision-making, all focused on improving their business, their families, and their communities. As a speaker, Jess brings enthusiasm, energy and a bit of humor to her presentations. Always looking to elevate others’ success, her presentations give practical and simple approaches to gnarly problems.  When she’s not presenting, facilitating or writing, you can find her sailing on Puget Sound on the family boat.
