Emily Meyer, CDFA (Bernardo|Wills Architects) won a chapter scholarship to attend EDSymposium19. Chapter scholarship winners are asked to share what they learned at the conference. Emily has opted to share via a webinar (thank you, Emily!). She’ll present Gracewriting 101, based on what she learned from the Fat-free Gracewriting session. This is a free event for SDA members; non-members pay a nominal fee to attend.

Here’s what Emily has to say about her webinar: In this webinar, I will dive deeper into the world of Gracewriting with examples of bad business writing (they are everywhere), and how that writing can be transformed by focusing on the reader’s needs. Clients are muddling through our messages, so we will focus on cutting the fat and conveying our truest messages in our writing.

Presenter: Emily Meyer was voted “Most Likely to End up in Entertainment” her senior year of high school, but somehow ended up studying liberal arts in Spokane, WA. Today, she uses her position as office manager to craft entertaining reminder emails in hopes that recipients read to the end. She loves managing the chaos of a busy day and has been known to cause “fun.” Emily has been with Bernardo|Wills Architects since 2017 and joined SDA in 2018. In her free time, Emily loves to thrift shop, work in her garden, and elbow her way to the front row at concerts.
