Office culture, policies, building operations, maintenance, etc., are important for employee retention and attraction, but how can those impact their health and well-being, and your bottom line?  A number of building standards are now focusing on the health and productivity of employees.  Two such standards are Well Building and Fitwel.  This presentation will share some of the aspects of the Healthy Building Standards that—often not connected back to the bottom line—can have a large impact on your success as a company.

Presenter: Amarpreet Sethi, CEM, BEMP, HBDP, LEED BD+C, WELL AP

Amarpreet is a Principal at DLR Group and she leads the High-Performance Building Design Team nationally.  Amarpreet’s practice focuses on climate-responsive design, daylighting, energy efficient mechanical systems, indoor air quality, thermal comfort etc to deliver energy efficient and healthy buildings. Amarpreet’s focus on sustainable design first began while obtaining her architecture degree in India. She went on to achieve a Masters in Energy and Climate and worked for a mechanical consulting firm for 10 years prior to joining DLR Group. Amarpreet is a Certified Energy Manager, an ASHRAE certified Building Energy Modeling Professional, a High Performance Building Design Professional, as well as a LEED and WELL building accredited professional.
