Managing Your Inbox: Tips and Tricks for More Efficient Use of Outlook

Emails got you down? Are you buried under the weight of your inbox? Join us for a roundtable webinar in which Seattle Chapter member, Carrie Thompson (who routinely gets 50 to 80 emails a day, and also manages the company calendar and contacts), will share with you some of the real-world, time-saving tips-and-tricks for utilizing Outlook that she has picked up over the past two decades.

Learn how to customize what you see, set up rules for auto-filing, and use tools like Quick Parts and Quick Steps to speed up your email tasks. For Calendars and Contacts, Carrie will cover some basics such as setting up appointments and sharing calendars, as well as tips on navigating, categorizing, and viewing information quickly.

Hey, SDA members! This is a no-cost event for you (and we’re only charging a nominal fee for others to attend this educational knowledge-sharing); how cool is that? 

No-shows and cancellations after 12:00pm (Pacific) on August 9 will not be refunded. Continuing education credits pending.

An invaluable asset to the team, Carrie has brought a wide array of skills to Studio Meng Strazzara over the course of her 19+ year tenure. In her role as Director of Administration, she is responsible for the firm’s overall operations, managing financial plans and budgets, coordinating contract processes, overseeing administrative staff and duties, and supervising human resources procedures. Carrie also serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Design Administration’s Seattle Chapter, holding several positions over the past few years.
