Moving Beyond Imposter Syndrome
August 15, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Impostor Syndrome is a pattern of thinking or belief that you are inadequate and faking it at work and in life. It comes with an anxiety that others will find you out and you will be exposed as the fraud you are. Perfectionism is related to imposter syndrome because when perfectionists have a failure, they experience severe worry and self-doubt. This is why many perfectionists struggle with trusting others at work to do as good of a job as they would.
In this session, Amy Hedin will discuss her own struggles with imposter syndrome and perfectionism. She will share stories of how she copes with this in her daily life running her company, HumanPoint, and interacting with her highly successful clients. You will learn techniques to reframe your thinking and mindset to move boldly into the future and communicate with confidence.
