Extreme Leadership – Build Your Team to Build Your Success
July 28, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Given how much the workplace has changed since 2020, being a leader and developing leaders is critical. Leadership is not about having the power to exercise your authority. Leadership is about behaving in ways that influence the feelings, thoughts and actions of others. If you are aware of their surroundings, take the time to collect some data and learn how to trust your instincts, you can be more influential in leading the people around you.
Everyone has at least one ‘aha’ moment in their life. The question is, are we aware enough to recognize it and bold enough to act on it. It was in a workshop on extreme leadership that an ‘aha’ moment occurred for Randy Barber, owner of Proficio Partners. Randy is a dynamic personal and professional development coach, facilitator, and speaker. After almost four decades of successful years managing and leading companies in the engineering and construction industry under his belt, Randy started his own consulting business in 2016, focusing on how to help people, processes, and systems be their best. Now he’ll present to SDA his secrets to break through barriers, how to move through the obstacles and understand our full leadership capability.
This program is all about how to implement the 4 elements that all start with “L”. He will share how a little change can make a big difference on a larger scale. When we transform and become more influential, those around us will be transformed as well. The 4 L’s:
- Laugh more
- Learn more
- Listen more
- Love more
Bring your high focus and a thick notebook! We hope to see you there!
No-shows and cancelations after July 20 will not be refunded. Registration for this business practice webinar closes at noon (PST) on July 27.
Presenter: Randy Barber
After 35 years successful years managing and leading companies in the engineering and construction industry, Randy discovered he was not pursuing his passion. He started his own consulting business in 2016, focusing on how to help people, processes, and systems be their best. He continues to expand his skills and offerings, taking his message on how to improve profitability and productivity by examining thinking and self-awareness to leaders at all stages in their careers. He combines his successful experience from leading multiple teams and lines of business through lean and robust times with his coaching training on how thinking and beliefs impact results. His goal is to help highly motivated individuals turn dreams into reality. Randy’s favorite quote comes from the late Dr. Wayne Dyer: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” This is a cornerstone of his approach to all his personal and professional engagements.
