Gender and racial diversity continues to be a major issue in the architectural industry.  Join us as Myra Vaughn discusses the Equity by Design movement (sponsored by AIA San Francisco), which started in 2016 by launching the first national survey around the topic of equity.  The data presented from 2016’s survey inspired and prompted her to launch an Equity Initiative at MG2.  Myra will be discussing the national data that was presented at last year’s Equity by Design Symposium, how MG2 successfully launched its Equity Initiative, and how the A/E/C industry can make impactful changes toward achieving equity and diversity.

As a principal in MG2’s Retail studio, Myra Vaughn provides the firm with thought leadership, innovation, discipline and passion. In leading relationships with top retailers, she applies her creativity to developing architectural design solutions and finding new ways to introduce process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities for clients.
