The ability to attract and retain top talent is top of mind for employers, HR professionals, managers and supervisors in companies of all kinds, across all geographies. Most companies see attracting & retention talent as a key strategic imperative but less than half have a plan. Think about that. It’s a new world at work. What would a better approach look like?
A recent study reported that 86% of employees plan to pursue new jobs and employee turnover is on the rise and is expected to continue to worsen over time. In addition, over 60% of companies report having difficulty recruiting key talent. It’s no secret how important these functions and strategies are. Companies, lives and projects are forever shaped by how a company gets and keeps their team.
That’s why on March 16 we’re doing our first IN PERSON session of the year with Lauren Ruth (with Ultimate Staffing) & Julie Newton (with Ledgent Technology) at the Crowne Plaza in Seattle. Meet the Presenters
Lauren Ruth is a Business Solutions Manager for Ultimate Staffing. She provides support to local Seattle area businesses and job seekers. She works with their business clients to fulfill their employment needs and connect them with the best talent available.
Julie Newton is a Business Solutions Manager for Ledgent Accounting & Finance. She provides support to local Los Angeles businesses and jobseekers. She works with their business clients to fulfill their employment needs and connect them with the best talent available.
Half business support, half recruiter, Lauren & Julie are constantly on the lookout for candidates that are both a skill and cultural fit, empowering them to reach the next step in their career.
Schedule:
5:30pm – 6pm: networking / cash bar
6pm – 7pm: presentation and dinner.
Meal choice for in-person: Grilled Flank Steak, or Roasted Vegetable Stack. Both meals include salad, rolls, coffee/tea.
