Here’s your chance to be recognized for supporting a Seattle chapter member’s attendance at the next SDA EDSymposium. The scholarship will be in your firm’s name, and you can specify conditions if you’d like. For example, do you only want first-time EDSymposium attendees to apply for your branded scholarship? Or would you prefer a new SDA member get the funding to attend? You can also leave the terms of the scholarship up to the chapter board of directors.
Either way, if your firm wants to offer a branded scholarship:
- You’ll receive the same benefits as the Mt. Baker sponsor level.
- The scholarship will be branded, awarded, and publicized as [Your firm’s name] Scholarship, before, during, and after the EDSymposium, at the local and national SDA level.
Although payments and contributions to the Seattle Chapter SDA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, they may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
