Weinstein A+U is seeking a graphic designer to join our in-house marketing team in Seattle.
As graphic designer, you will collaborate with the Principal group and the marketing team to support the firm’s business development. Projects will include print portfolios and brochures, RFQ proposal preparation and interview materials, award submissions, community events, website updates, and online collateral. Throughout, the successful candidate will assist the team in maintaining brand consistency in outgoing documents and collateral. Fast-paced projects will be interspersed with longer-developing projects. Our ideal candidate possesses a good balance of self-motivation, creativity and technical know-how to bring ideas to life.
Weinstein A+U is a design-oriented, collaborative office with a small-firm mentality to marketing and business development: that is, everyone participates in effectively promoting the firm and marketing is not “departmentalized”. The graphic designer should work well in cross-discipline teams (teams that include technical staff, designers, senior management, HR, and other marketing colleagues). Our ideal candidate feels confident in sharing ideas and interpreting feedback from others. The candidate is available to work in-house with senior leadership and has the ability to take projects from concept development to production with a high quality of output and self-direction.
An eye for design and visual communication is a must. Organization, good interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are also critical. We are interested in the experience you see as vital to success in this role. Experience may include Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, photo editing, video production, architectural drafting, WordPress and website editing, and/or project management software. Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
