Open Book Management: How to be Transparent Without Being Overwhelming

February 28, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Open book management – sharing financial information with employees – is common, and some would even say necessary in today’s business world. Companies know this. However, companies sometimes struggle with how much information to share, whom to share it with, how often, and in what format. Join us for a virtual roundtable that discusses this topic and shares best practices for providing employees with not just data, but also a little financial training in a business context.

Facilitator: Gretchen Renz, CDFAA 26-year employee of Bernardo|Wills Architects (located in Spokane, Washington), Gretchen provides day-to-day oversight of all corporate administration, human resources, bookkeeping, financial management, business development and facilities management for the firm. Gretchen joined SDA in 2007, and she has served on the Seattle Chapter board of directors since 2014.

No-shows and cancellations received after 12:00 PM (PST) on February 20 will not be refunded. This event is free to all SDA members; only $10 for non-members. Remote access will be sent to all registrants one to two days prior to the event.

Please note: Registration for this event closes at 8:00 AM (PST) on Feb. 28.
